Bordered & Cornered

What is the most common thing that connects, flamboyant display of batting by our own little master, melodicious music composed by Alla Rakha, the jhumkas and thumkas of Bebo, the full of mirch n masala filled speeches given by laloo, the fearless action stunts done by Akshay, and a movie called BORDER?

yes, exactly, the answer is impeccable entertainment, with nothing standing in parallel to the above said things !!!

BORDER, the movie, "wow" is the word when I watched it for some unknown time .. and still felt glued to it like I'm watching it for the first time. The songs, storyline, dialogues, cinematography and other lanky words used in bollywood lingo makes a perfect score with a perfect blend of JATTitude acting by Sunny Deol.

It also gives me a feeling of doing something for my nation, the nation for which I can do anything, if not in terms of joining army, or fighting with our so called enemies. Service before Self ..

The touching dialogues, which simply raises the innerself of mine to look at the things in the different manner .. ans, the last song mere dushman mere bhai .. simply ask me a question?
What is the simplest way to stop the WAR?

"jung to chann roz hoti hai,
zindagi barso falak hoti hai"

Penned down by Javed Akhtar and beautifully sung by Hariharan, says it all.

And, I'd like to see people volunteering for "my Nation not my State" ...

Signing off with a PJ:

Santa (an Indian): Oye tumne movie ka naam rakh diya Kapil, aur usmein Kapil Dev ek baar bhi nahi aaya ??
Peter (an Aussie): Oye tumne bhi to movie ka naam rakha tha Border, usmein kaunsa Allan Border aaya !!

:)
